Eric Osiakwan is an incredibly well-spoken advocate of change in African technology circles. He advocates an increased need for ISP’s to band together in Africa. Only by coming together as a united front will ISP’s begin to counter government corruption, overreach and monopolies.
He has started the African ISP Association (AfrISPA) and can be contacted via email at eric@afrispa.org. You can also read his blog here.
I had the chance to record his “African Digerati Interview” at the same time, but due to length I will post that at a later date.

1Erik, this is hot! Wow, I am really awed by both the concept and the interview. Great work.

2Thanks Benin, Eric Osiakwan is the real star here. I’m the one who is amazed by what he has done and where he’s planning to take the ISPs in Africa.

3Excellent interview Hash. The work Eric has been doing is just astounding and hearing him talk about it here adds lots of additional insight into the challenges he is facing and progress he is making.
